Efficient cooling for network switches

The Schneikel SwitchTube - AirFlow was specifically designed for use in 19" network and server racks. This passive airflow management system directs cool air from the front of the rack to the air intake of network switches, routers, firewalls, and other active network components.

 

Especially with switches installed in the upper part of a rack, rising warm air can increase the operating temperature and, in the long run, impair the reliability of the devices. The Schneikel SwitchTube - AirFlow prevents the recirculation of warm exhaust air and ensures optimal separation of cold and warm air. This reduces hotspots, improves cooling performance, and increases the operational reliability of the infrastructure.

 

Installation is simple and space-saving, taking up the same rack unit as the network device. Since the system operates passively, no additional power supply is required.
