Protection for your devices
Power surges can be caused by thunderstorms, switching operations, or disturbances in the power grid. Even very short voltage spikes can damage sensitive IT and electronic devices, cause malfunctions, or lead to data loss.
Our 19" PDUs are optionally available with integrated surge protection. This protects connected devices directly at the power distribution point and can be combined with other functions such as mains filters, switches, or measurement functions.
Integrated protection
The surge protection is integrated directly into the PDU. The power strip can be connected to the existing power supply as usual – without any additional devices in the rack.
Thanks to the modular design, the socket type, number of sockets, connection and other functions can be selected to suit the application.

Premium protection from Phoenix Contact
For particularly demanding applications, we rely on the BLOCKTRAB Type 3 from Phoenix Contact. Phoenix Contact is one of the internationally established manufacturers in the field of surge protection and stands for high-quality and reliable protection technology.
The BLOCKTRAB is integrated directly into our PDU and protects connected devices from transient overvoltages. This provides a high-quality solution for applications where quality and reliable equipment protection are paramount.

In addition to the premium solution from Phoenix Contact, we offer other surge protection modules for different requirements.
U4 – PLC, certified
Class III surge protection (fine protection) for sensitive electronic devices. The integrated audible alarm enables rapid fault detection. The module is tested according to IEC 61643-1 and other testing standards and is CE certified.
U3 – PLC with LED
Surge protector with visual status indicator. The LED allows for direct external status monitoring of the surge protector. This version is not certified.
